 Wilshere rebuilds career in Denmark

Midfielder Jack Wilshere practiced for the first time with his new club Aarhus on the afternoon of February 22 (Hanoi time).

The Danish team gave Wilshere a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season. If the former Arsenal star performs well, he will be extended by Aarhus club.

Aarhus is one of the oldest clubs in Denmark. This season, Aarhus was included in the qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference (UEFA's new tournament, corresponding to the C3 Cup). The club's scouting department observed Wilshere during training at Arsenal before deciding to sign.

"When I train with Arsenal, I am always ready for a new team shirt in 2022. I am grateful to Aarhus and will try my best," Mirror quoted Wilshere on the launch day of the new club.

Wilshere is only 30 years old, but his career is slowly falling to the bottom. Since May 2021, the one-time "prodigy" of English football has not played. Before the summer transfer deadline of 2021, Wilshere used to train at a club in Italy, but he could not sign a contract because the work permit application process failed.

At the invitation of coach Mikel Arteta, Wilshere was trained at Arsenal for a few months. It was an opportunity for Wilshere to prepare physically and to feel the ball before finding a new destination.

The former England international's aspiration is to play for a club in the English First Division. But all ignored Wilshere because the midfielder has a history of serious injuries.

Transfermarkt statistics Wilshere suffered 13 different injuries, missed nearly 1,500 days to spend time in the "hospital". In particular, ankles and knees are the two most serious injuries of Wilshere.
